THE TAO IS?
(Remember, the Tao is unity, and therefore has no opposite, unless, there is an anti-Tao, having no unity. The Tao itself has no opposite, but the Tao, as not-itself, does.)
Do not forget the SUPREME POWER. The SUPREME POWER must have the power to be or not to be, or both, or neither, or parts of both, or parts of neither, and must have the power to be the TAO, or it would not be the SUPREME POWER. As the TAO, it has no opposite (unless it wants to) and the TAO is. But when it is not “as the TAO” it does have an opposite, (unless it chooses not to) and “the TAO is not”.
And we then end up with the following; If the Tao is the unity of everything conceivable and not
conceivable, and since everything has an opposite, is there an opposite to the Tao?
THE TAO ISN’T?
AT THIS POINT I WANT TO POINT OUT A FEW PROBLEMS WITH TRYING TO UNDERSTAND IT
ALL AS IT CAME ABOUT LOGICALLY.
We have the indescribable Supreme Power which SOMETIMES/ALWAYS masquerades as the TAO; without the indescribable SUPREME POWER we have no hyper intellectual THOUGHT;
without hyper intellectual thought we have no HYPERTIME; without eternal time we have no HYPERSPACE; without infinite space, we have no self-existing SINGULARITIES (UNIVERSES); without self -existing SINGULARITIES (UNIVERSES) we have no observable UNIVERSE; without an observable universe, we have no all heavenly COSMOS; without a heavenly cosmos, all we have is the indescribable SUPREME POWER sometimes masquerading as the TAO., ETC.
And there you have one overly brief SYNOPSIS of this paper
So one can say there is a never ending cycle, except that, the term never ending sounds so definite. It is very difficult to make a definite statement when speaking about something which involves the TAO. Except that it is not difficult.
An interesting question- If a person chooses to think the TAO is the “effect”; or the “after”. What was the “cause” or the “before” of the TAO? How do you like that question to ponder? Or, a phrase I used often in my teaching days, “How do you like ‘dem’ apples?
“One more thing” has to do with eternal time and infinite space. I am sure, that by this time you have guessed what follows. Eternal and infinite both mean they have no bounds, and having no bounds means both they exist, and don’t exist. (If something needs boundaries of some type in order to be defined, then that means it is not definable when it has no boundaries.) Time and space, as we are trying to be aware, exist only to us within our “singularity”, our UNIVERSE, and exist to us only in order that we may define something, so that we, with our biological programming, can logically explain things sequentially.
And remember, our singularity only exists to us, and has no existence outside of itself. And, having no existence outside of itself means it has no bounds; and if it has no bounds, time and space are both eternal and infinite to the outside observer (who does not know we are there anyway). But, to the inside observer, his singularity (UNIVERSE) has boundaries, but those boundaries can expand infinitely (which is what we actually observe, if we can observe anything about the bounds of our universe).
Where did the Supreme Power set the stage for the original BIG BANG to take place in order to create the start of the original “MASS”? That is a really good question for someone to answer.
But this we know. If there is an “after”, there must be a “before”. Ergo, there must have been something “before” the first big bang/WHITE HOLE. “Cause” and “effect” dictates there had to be a “cause” for that “first big bang/WHITE HOLE. And the only thing we can come up with at this time is THOUGHT.
Every effect has a cause, and every cause has an effect.—- REALLY?
It would seem that again, we are back to THOUGHT as utilized by the SUPREME POWER is the beginning of it all. The DREAM MASTER thinks it, and it comes to pass. The beginnings of all required aspects of what we have been writing were all brought about by THOUGHT.
Because it is said, the Dream Master (SUPREME POWER) created us in its own image, we were given the power of limited “thought”, and hence the power to be a dream master with powers limited to day dreams and night dreams. We were able to program dreams, utilizing time and space increments. This is what gives the dream its story, no matter how illogical we might make that story. If we as dream master are able to create the beginning and end of both time and space in our dream stage productions, how much more must the SUPREME POWER be able to do with its dream stage creations?
Again, the skeptics are thinking, “boy, we sure are dreaming up magical excuses when we run out of clear logical explanations”. And, up to this point, we have been toying around without much in the way of THOUGHT
processes, and trying to come up with a serious approach to a logical solution. So, now, please allow me to give you what might be an interpretation of how it all began.
When the cosmos is created, what is created out of nothing? If there is nothing, can anything be created from it? So, what is reality?
Our dreams are our own creation, we are the dream masters. But what we have created is not reality, but what we have created, is a creation out of nothing. It is reality during the dream, to those participating in the dream, including ourselves (most of the time). But when we awake, we realize it was an illusion of reality, occupying none of our space, and thereby is not involved in our UNIVERSE of time, except that, time has progressed during the time that we, as dream masters, are dreaming. And that passage is the DREAM MASTER’S
UNIVERSAL time within the DREAM MASTRER’S reality, not the reality of those within our the dream. The characters within our dream and the dream itself, exist only unto us as the dream master and to the dream themselves. Nothing outside of the dream, except ourself, is aware of our dream’s existence. They, and the dream itself are in a sense, their own singularity, or, like in their own UNIVERSE, which lasts as long as the dream lasts. That reality ceases when the dream is over and the dream master, ourself, awakes. (This is a like- minded copy, completely without my effort to do so, of what BRAHMA (HINDUISM) goes thru.
But upon waking, the dream master’s reality, as defined by the passage of UNIVERSEAL time, shows that such a time has passed during the dream, and is continuing to pass. The dream master’s dream created a cosmos, out of nothing, and then destroyed it as though it never existed, except for the memory.
It follows then, that the SUPREME POWER’s creation follows the same path, and is so recorded by the Hindu belief that Brahma dreams the great dream of the cosmos creation. Upon waking, the cosmos is destroyed; he rolls over and returns to sleep and recreates the cosmos all over again.
The SUPREME POWER’s dream creates the cosmos out of nothing. It is an illusion by the SUPREME POWER, and only seems as though it is REALITY to those participating in the dream (our selves).
Restated, our REALITY is the SUPREME POWER’S dream.
I WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU THE READER ARE FULLY AWARE OF WHAT WE HAVE JUST PROVEN! WE ARE CREATED IN THE DREAM MASTER’S IMAGE, AND THAT IMAGE IS THE POWER OF THOUGHT. THE PROCESS OF OURSELVES AS DREAM MASTER AND THE PROCESS OF THE SUPREME POWER AS DREAM MASTER IS THE SAME. OUR POWER JUST DOES NOT HAVE NEARLY THE SAME POWER TO CREATE REALITY.
WE ARE LIVING IN THE DREAM MASTER’S CREATIVE DREAM. WHAT WE INTERPRET AS REALITY IS NOTHING MORE THAN THE DREAM MASTER’S DREAM.
I JUST CHECKED, YESTERDAY, WITH A HINDU OF THE BRAHMAN CASTE, AND HE TOLD ME THE TRUE HINDU’S BELIVE THERE IS NO REALITY; THERE IS ONLY THE DREAM OF BRAHMA, WHICH WE INTERPRET AND LIVE AS THOUGH IT IS REALITY.
In other words, there is no such thing as UNIVERSES with time. It is only an illusion from the SUPREME POWER.
Nothing exists.
It only seems to exist to us.
Is it possible to play around with this cockamamie idea, and try to make some sense of it? Let’s give it a try.
The SUPREME POWER is the CREATOR. Any CREATION from the CREATOR, contains elements of that CREATOR. When we mortals, using thought, play the role of dream master and create a dream, we naturally have elements of ourselves within that dream. Even if we just create a painting, we will have elements of ourselves within that painting.
When the SUPREME POWER, playing the role of DREAM MASTER, uses THOUGHT to create all the various stages necessary to lead to the REALITY in which we play a major role, there are parts of elements of the DREAM MASTER within that CREATION. It is said, in various ways, that the THOUGHT created us mortals, we were created in the image of the SUPREME POWER itself. Any and all interpretations of that bit of information have found it very necessary to be careful about their conclusion What does it really mean? There are those who say we are at least partially, the mirror image of the SUPREME POWER, OR EVEN ACTUALLY SAY WE ARE PART OF THE SUPREME POWER. And others would say we have the ability to use that THOUGHT, TO CREATE. Does that mean then, we are somewhat responsible for our own CREATION?
Would that, does that, explain why REALITY as we know and experience it today, is so screwed up? We say “GOD is love”. Does “love” treat its children in the manner we see the poor wretched inhabitants of this planet going through? We say “Praise GOD”. Why? Do you praise any of the many mortals who are responsible for the mess we find so many parts of our world to be in today? BUT, we do not want to blame the SUPREME POWER, so where does the blame lie?
WITHIN OURSELVES? Mortals were given the power to, using the REALITY POWER provided them, create the “HEAVEN on earth. AND LOOK AT WHAT THEY (THE MORTALS) HAVE DONE WITH THAT POWER!
As a result of continuous messes, one after another, followed by plea after plea for help from mortals, the SUPREME POWER has continuously, without fail, made it possible, by providing everything necessary, to recover from those messes, and THE MORTALS can try again to create the heaven on earth. And every time, there are those mortals who are determined to profit mostly for themselves, ignoring others and another mess is created.
And that leaves us with the question, “Whence the Supreme Power?” If nothing exists (and we have run into this situation before) then that means everything exists (since everything includes “nothing”, and nothing includes “everything”). And that means you have or you don’t have the SUPREME POWER. It’s the same thing. And again the question, “Is there a SUPREME POWER of any type, for those who choose to believe?” Is the previous paragraph no more than hocus pocus to draw attention to this writing? Is there a SUPREME POWER?
And the answer to that is the most simple thing we have discussed. Are you here? The answer is obviously “YES”. Are you the painting? Then obviously, another “YES” answer. Then there is “obviously” some type/kind of painter. Whether or not you are comfortable with the conclusion, face the LOGIC. And the painter is———–.
And that just leaves us with “Why”? Why this continuous mess, which the SUPREME POWER, with its obvious ability of foresight, can foretell is going to happen. Why the creation at all? One answer is “Why not”? Another way to look at it is that there are two possibilities. You either have the creation, or you don’t have the creation. If you have it, you are aware that you have it. If you do not have it, you are not aware that you do not have it. So, we are aware of what we have, and not aware of what we may not have, our awareness leaves us with the conclusion that we are here; we are the painting; there is a painter. But, we still don’t know, “WHY”? And we don’t know “FROM WHENCE THE PAINTER”?—– Maybe we will never have a clue to those last two questions. But to give you an idea about how screwed up we can get if we follow this “logic” thing to the nth degree—. We have previously ascertained that infernity has no bounds, either around the edges, nor within infernity itself. (To show how complicated a statement like that gets—the words “edge” and “within” imply bounds.) To continue, if there are no bounds to be found anywhere, then there are no universes, nor cosmos of any kind. There is no mass to be found anywhere, for mass must have bounds, and besides, there cannot even be an “anywhere” for that implies location, and “location” implies bounds. So, if you have “infernity” you cannot have existence. And that pretty much destroys all the conclusions we have come up with in the previous pages. We must remember; if you have any boundaries anywhere, you do not have infernity.
Next question—WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE? That is not as difficult a question as it first appears.
As we have already considered the possibility , mass is created from the energy produced by the joining of HYPERTIME and HYPERSPACE. At that point there is existence within infernity. That mass possesses boundaries which exist within infernity.
AND THAT, DEAR READER, ANSWERS THE MAIN QUESTION WITH WHICH WE STARTED THIS PAPER, WHAT IS THE UNIVERS EXPANDING INTO? THE MASS OF THE UNIVERSE IS EXPANDING INTO THE BOUNDLESS ENERGY COMBINED BY THE COMBINATION OF HYPERTIME AND HYPERSPACE. THAT COMBINATION , WITH ITS ENERGY, IS WHAT HAS BEEN MEANT, WHEN WE SAY THE UNIVERSE IS EXPANDING INTO NOTHING!!!!!
We must point out, again, for the third time, the Hindu writing where Brahma, who has been dreaming the GREAT DREAM of his creation, suddenly awakens, destroying his creation. At which point he goes back to sleep and recreates his creation. He recreates his cosmos out of nothing. He knows it to be his own illusion which seems to be reality only to those participating in the dream (our selves). We repeat this story only to show how it fits in with our logic. That does not make us Hindus.
Nor does it make us good Scottish Presbyterians with their concept of predestination. This means the SUPREME POWER, being THE SUPREME POWER, knows everything which is going to happen, or, it would not be the SUPREME POWER. Now, how’s that for a continuation of the question, “why is there creation”. Face facts: we were not created with the power to understand everything.
